Documents Required

• A passport with a minimum validity of six months.
• Letter from Host (complete form below to receive your invitation letter)
• One photo matching passport size.
• Evidence of a return ticket.

• Single entry US$50 (must be paid in United States Dollars)

Processing Time

• Tanzania conference visas fall under the ‘Tourist visa’ category. E-Visa applications are processed  within ten (10) working days for most nationalities. Some nationalities can take up to (90) working days. However, please note that the visa validity period is 3 months from the date of issue. We therefore advise that participants who plan to attend in-person apply in April 2025.

Health

• Travelers to Tanzania from areas affected by yellow fever must present an international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever. This is mandatory for all individuals arriving from countries or regions where yellow fever is endemic.

  Those in transit for 12 hours or more or who leave the airport vicinity in a yellow fever endemic area must provide proof of yellow fever vaccination upon arrival at any Tanzanian port of entry.

  Direct arrivals from non-endemic countries in Europe and North America are exempt from this requirement and do not need to show the vaccination certificate.

Please note: It will take about 10 working days for you to receive your personalized invitation letter and about 10 days after submitting your visa application to receive your visa. If you require visa please apply at least a month in advance of travel.
